Book: De conceptu et generatione hominis (first published 1554)

Notes: Rueff was a surgeon who also instructed midwives. This book was a series of guidelines for midwives and included information about fetal nutrition, unusual presentations, and how to deliver a baby (including information about delivery instruments). This woodcut shows the fetus, placenta, and uterus.
