Identification, Pricing, Appraisal of Medical Antiques

Identification and Pricing of Medical Antiques

Please understand a couple of points about evaluating medical antiques:  No one can be an expert in all fields of medical antiques and we are only able to help you with items like you see on this Web-site.

We are not dealers.  Dealers buy from you, double the price, and re-sell to collectors. We are collectors, and one motivation for maintaining this site is to find items that fit in our collections BEFORE they go through dealers.

While we are not certified appraisers, we have seen, studied, and purchased enough medical antiques to courteously help you with identification and values. We are happy to share our knowledge!  We also may be able to put you in contact with other collectors who may be interested in your antique and  most likely pay much more than a dealer.

We want to continue to learn about this exciting field and would like to hear about your items whether they are for sale or not.

If you have items similar to those on this Web-site, please get in touch with us and we'll try to help you identify and price your antique.  If you can provide digital photos via e-mail, that is a great help in quickly responding to your needs.  If you need to mail print photos, the mailing address is on the contact page.
