Bannerman's 1904 Catalog of Army Medical Surplus

What is very interesting about the items in this surplus catalog is not the drawings as they might not represent the items for sale, but the details of the medical sets and instrument offerings by various known Civil War makers.  Not all items are Civil War issue, but many are and it's nice to know the 'rare' material was being preserved and sold over 40 years after the war ended.  There were only two pages for these items.  Read the details and don't rely on the drawing for information.
