Colt Pistol Owned by Surgeon Norman K. Smith, Mass. 6th.

 

Sold by: Richard A. Bourne Co, Inc Estate Auctioneers and Appraisers. Hyannis, MA,  May 9, 1979

This Second Model Colt Dragoon Revolver, Serial Number 10,646,  marked 'M. S.' for the Mass. Militia Service was purchased by an unknown party in 1979 at the Richard A. Bourne auction in Mass. This pistol was in  the Bourne auction brochure from the auction of May 9, 1979 in Hyannis, Mass.  If anyone can offer information on the location of this pistol, please let us know via the link below.  All communication will remain private.

 

 

Update, 2014, we have recently been informed the pistol was again sold at auction by the Rock Island Auction in 2012, again the buyer or seller is unknown.  See additional information at:
