Here is a later bound book from the SGO's Library
dated 1866. The plate indicating the book was donated from the
Surgeon General is different, but is also from a later period after the
War. Note the type of covering on the boards and how similar
it is to the Stromeyer SGO book. Similar bindings from the same
library. Just an indication they both were SGO Library produced or
ordered.
