STRONG, ALBERT BLISS. Chicago, III., was born, May 22d, 1845, at Gales- burg, III. He graduated in the arts at Ken- yon coll., Gambier, Ohio., in June, 1868, and in medicine at the Rush med. college., Chicago, in Feb., 1872; was an interne in St. Luke's hosp., Chicago, from Oct., 1871, to March, 1872, and in the city hosp. of Chicago, by competitive examination, from July, 1872, 11 Feb., 1874; was lecturer also by competitive examination, on mat. med. and therap., in Rush med. coll., from March, 1874, to Oct., 1875; am' at tne latter date was elected demons, of anat. and lecturer on anat. in the spring course of that institution, .1 position which he now holds. He is a member of the Chicago med. soc.
