Anderson's Imperial Photograph Studio - No. 183 Canal Street - Three Sister Buildings - New Orleans" and in ink "To Dr. Alden with regards B.A.C. - 1870". While not listed in The Roster of Regimental Surgeons and Assistant Surgeons , there are 30 references to him in the Medical and Surgical History of the War of the Rebellion .
